Find cybercrime before it finds you.
While many savvy cyber safe surfers out there know the basics of email safety, the majority of cybercrime still hides in plain sight.
Some plain to see statistics:
1 IN 36
mobile phones have “high risk” apps installed.
4,800
websites are compromised by Formjacking every month.
How does cybercrime hide in plain sight?
Formjacking – Hackers inject malicious code into a commercial website to take over the page and collect sensitive information that’s both on the site, and is being entered by users being lured through links in scam emails.
Filenames – Some files in emails might seem like a simple picture or video (.jpg; .png; .avi; etc.), but the fact is filenames can be hidden, meaning that the seemingly harmless download might actually be an executable file (.bin; .exe; .iso; etc.) waiting to be opened so that your system’s data can be compromised.
Do you know the

Safe practise
is enabling two-factor authentication where possible. Making your log in a multi-step process, but also helping you hide your sensitive data from hackers.

Unsafe practise
is accessing your email or sensitive data on a public WiFi network.
